Gratitude for the Power of One Word
Just focusing our minds on one word like Christ can keep our minds centered on Him. Focusing on Him and His name can help us to act in faith rather than acting in fear from the wind and waves around us.
In high school my eccentric teacher in humanities class filled the board with swear words which felt uncomfortable and caused a stir. She was talking to the power of these symbols because we assign meaning to them. If a symbol can carry that much power, how much more powerful the spoken word is! Our affirmations gain power as we speak them.
Mandi and others spoke today about how one word can make such a difference for a year, day, or month. What we focus on grows, when we focus on success then success will grow. The difference is surprising in the outcome as we choose our words wisely.
Today I Give Myself Permission to feel the power of One Word
- I am the power of word
- It is good through Christ
- I am open and receiving inspired words
- I am trusting my word
- Words allow me receive the Good Word of God
- I choose to edify others with my words
- I am centered and focused in love
- Love brings clarity
