Gratitude for the Promise of Hope
I felt a little chastised in my personal scripture this morning. I had an intense awareness of a way that I have been out of integrity with my word, especially with my husband — saying I would do things and not following through.
Gratefully, i have a very forgiving husband and a wonderful marriage that I can make even better by shifting back into alignment, consciously speaking only the words that I intend to fulfill on.
The promise that I hold onto within my marriage when I am not my perfect, ideal self is the covenant that we created 33 years ago. I love the promises of hope that are in the scriptures as well. Those promises help us hold onto faith when we can’t see the tangible evidence of the promise being fulfilled.
Christ has promised us that He will always be there for us. He is the Rock, so he never moves or changes. We can always find him through the wind and waves of adversity. We always can turn to him and find stability in His surety.
Hope is an anchor to heaven, the promise that we can always spiritually connect with God. Susan, on the call today, reminded us that whenever we create (inviting a new experience or material possession into our lives, or changing a relationship, etc) we must move into an alternate universe. We have to rise above the earth and enter God’s Realm, the Realm of Creation. The earth is physical, the by product of planning and speaking intention. To spiritually create, to create the vision and stir the molecules that will eventually become a tangible substance, we must rise above the physical.
Today, I Give Myself Permission to Hope
- God provides the way
- I desire to know my part
- I am willing to do my part and leave the rest to God
- I am anchored in Hope
- I am grounded in the Realm of Creation by Faith
