Gratitude is all about appreciating what we have. We can usually find something to be grateful for, if we look hard enough. Things like good health, family, friends, pets, homes, jobs, even basic comforts, like heat, hot water, and food are good things and we should appreciate their value. We all know we should be grateful for them, but are we really? And why does being grateful even matter, when so many people in society just aren’t?
