Giving thanks is an acknowledgment of the Source. Giving thanks is an acknowledgment of the Cause. So when we say, Thank you, Father, I am, we are showing forth our conviction that our supply does not come from any human being, but comes from the Father. It comes, not from our human cleverness, ingenuity, or personality. It comes forth from the Father. Without the recognition that Consciousness is the source, there is no further demonstration.
