Are you living in entitlement or in gratitude?
In the final week of our Soul Care series, Pastor Filmore uses the story in Luke to remind us that living with gratitude brings not only healing for our circumstances but restoration for our souls. As Christians who are growing in our walk with God, it's easy to forget the grace we've been given. When we receive blessings and answers to our prayers, we can unknowingly shift from relying on the source -- Jesus -- to feeling entitled to the outcome we desire.
Scripture on the other hand teaches every gift we receive is meant to bring us closer to Him, not farther away.
This week, take intentional moments to express gratitude for God's goodness loudly and intentionally. Reflect on the blessings in your life and let them draw you back to Jesus. Make gratitude a priority, and let your heart return to the feet of the One who has given it all.
