My podcast for today is to literally say thank you to those who have served in the military and who have protected the freedoms that I was born with. Without saying how old I am, just know that I was born with the freedom of religion, the freedom to vote, the freedom to bear arms, the freedom to be both an American citizen and a citizen of an Indigenous nation inside the United States, and as an indigenous person also have the right to vote and have the right to be a citizen of the United States, which didn't happen until after women were allowed the right to vote. My gratitude is to all of those who have served. I see you as some of the bravest, courageous human beings on the planet because you were willing to make the promise to give everything up to and including your very lives, and many of you did, so that I could have the freedoms I was born with. And anyone who describes you as anything other than brave, strong, selfless, patriots with full love of country and a devotion to the Constitution to the country and not to any one human being, but to all human beings and human rights anyone who says other than that I would say they don't deserve the rights, but then again, it's because we all deserve those rights. So everyone deserves the rights, but if they say that about you, I feel really sad that they don't understand the full value of the freedom and the rights human rights that you have all sacrificed many things for, not just your lives, but also many of you sacrificed even being told a simple thank you or an appropriate welcome home when you've been somewhere else in the world fighting for freedom. But know this, the Squirrel Wrangler thanks you from the bottom of her heart. And I pray that you are having an amazing day in the sunshine with the wind on your face and knowledge in your heart that there are those who really, really appreciate you.
