Today we talk about film trilogies; 
conventional film trilogies like The Dark Knight, Lord of the Rings, and the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, 
the ones that split the last film in the series like Twilight, 
and those that spin off new trilogies at a later time like Spider-Man.
