Acts 19:6,10-12, 19-20; Acts 16:6
Today, it’s time to change our attitude towards the things that God has forbidden us to do. Whether we act on them now or later is up to Him, as He knows when our efforts will bear fruit.
In Acts 19, God granted Paul the right anointing to heal people, cast out demons, and, most importantly, make disciples in the name of Jesus. While we may only see a limited distance ahead, God can see all the people who will benefit from our presence and work at the appointed time He has destined for us.
Paul experienced great rewards by waiting for all the Jews and Greeks in Asia to hear the word of the Lord from him. God had previously prevented him from going, but on his second attempt, the field was ready for him to plant seeds and witness their growth.
So, don’t be discouraged today if you wish to act right now but feel God is asking you to wait. Focus on what needs to be done in the present, and trust that God will guide you to pursue what you desire at the right moment.
