He writes for or contributes to many of the leading sportsman's publications in the country. He has authored several books whose titles include: "How To Win The Walleye Game", "Walleye In Shallow Water", " Crankbaits", "Walleye Trouble Shooting", "Bank Fishing Secrets" and the " Crankbait Trolling Depth Guide".

Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame member, Mike McClelland, presents common-sense information that all anglers regardless of their skill level can relate to. His message: "Keep it simple, Keep it FUN!"
