Do you ever have those friends who only call you when they need something or some help? Then, as soon as the help is given you never hear from them again until their next crisis! Did you know that when it comes to our relationship with God we are often that friend?
Not so with Hannah. Her prayer in 1 Samuel 2 is a beautiful expression of gratitude to God for answering her prayers for a child. She didn’t forget God’s blessing and not only praised and thanked him, but also testified to all of the glories of God. She offers a wonderful model of what it looks like to be a witness for the Lord with a grateful heart.
