Are faith and science really mutually exclusive? It stands to reason that the God who created the universe also created the laws that govern that universe, the very laws science "discovers" and declares.
Hezekiah’s prayer in 2 Kings 20:1-7 and God’s response through the prophet Isaiah reveal how faith, prayer, and the medical science of his day all came together in God’s mighty and sovereign hands to bring about healing in Hezekiah’s body. We, too, should trust in both medicine and in prayer, as both are gifts from God.
