observing 4th December as Sacrifice Day

Tantya Bhil, due to his pro-people image

was popularly  known as Mama. The great revolutionary Tantra Bhil made life hell for the British for many years and remained a challenge to them. From 1874, till his arrest, he plundered the government Treasury and distributed the money among the general public many times. The great revolutionary Tantya Bhil was later arrested by the British, who  hanged  him on December 4, 1889.
