Our great expectations need to be even greater expectations, and participation. Preparing for Jesus isn’t just a Victorian Dickens Christmas. It’s making space for the kingdom to break in and disrupt our lives and our priorities. And when we prepare for Jesus with that in mind, we get to have even greater expectations!
