If Jesus really is Lord over everything, and if Jesus really holds all of creation together then regardless where we stand we continually rely on him whether we know it or not. What we believe is inconsequential to who Jesus is. But knowing that he is Lord of everything can be a source of great hope even if we don't fully understand or comprehend how.
