Acts 4: 11-13,31; 1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:12.
Jesus is amazing because he did not hoard God's power from us. Instead, he died on the cross to cleanse us from our sins, and after cleaning us, He allowed God's Holy Spirit to fill our hearts to do greater works than He did.
Jesus gave the disciples authority to perform great miracles and start the first church. Through their boldness and the power of the Holy Spirit, they added many to the first church.
Jesus wants us to do even greater works than He did so that unbelievers see His might and understand that, as it's stated in verse 12 of this chapter, there is no other name by which we can be saved than Jesus' name.
Today, I encourage you to submit to the power of the Holy Spirit to do even greater works than Jesus, for He is the only one who can equip us to do such things. He is a faithful and mighty savior.
