This is part 2 of my conversation with Karen and Greg Mortimer, my neighbors on Denver’s East Side. The Mortimers moved to the Whittier neighborhood in 2004. They have had some remarkable experiences of loving and being loved by their neighbors, including people who are undocumented immigrants and others who are affiliated with gangs.
