The US job market continues to grow, with 201,000 jobs added last month.

Fat Prophets head of research Greg Smith says the ongoing trade tensions between the US and China have yet to make a mark on the American economy.

He told Mike Hosking there is no sign of a truce, with President Trump slapping even more tariffs on China.

" He is getting ready for another $267 billion of tariffs against Chinese goods, apparently talks are not going well at all."
