Greg Stahl went from an outstanding high school and college wrestler to successful coach and administrator to Missouri State High School Activities Association Assistant Executive Director in his career long passion for creating opportunities for kids. Each step was fueled by a desire to help students find their niche and feel part of their high school community. From his experience as a state medalist wrestler for Hall of Fame Coach Ron Hurst to his love for vocal music and band activities at Trenton High School, Trenton, Missouri, Greg pursued his dreams and learned there are no shortcuts on the road to success. At MSHAA for 13 years, Greg is the primary advocate who promoted and helped create the fastest growing sport in Missouri, Girls' Wrestling beginning in 2018! Hear his stories about the role of education and sports in his life and his continued passion for creating great experiences for students who participate in high school sports and activities.

Show-Me Sports Legacies takes a story approach to learning about high school, junior college, D2 & D1 college sports and our beloved professional franchises in Kansas City and St. Louis. We talk to people who have made their mark as coaches, players, scouts and business people after coming from small towns or little known communities or neighborhoods. We talk to people who are seeking to establish their reputation and break into sports career success. With a fan's perspective we look at how to encourage and support people who have that sporting dream.
