Many times in my life I thought I was depressed. However, except for the actual post-partum depression after my 3rd (and only daughter) was born, I have discovered that the deepest most paralyzing emotions I have are grief. Grief of the possibilities not realized. I have found tricks to process that grief and I am able to move on most often with in a few hours, if not a few days!
