In this episode I decided to sit down with Griffin Shuler. I have known Griffin since I started working at the University Center at UCCS. Throughout my time there I watched many people develop skill sets that would help them later on down the road - there is no doubt that our jobs in the UC set us up for success. After a few years both Griffin and I found ourselves in a tough spot in life. I call it "the college letdown" - that weird time after graduation when you are waiting to start down a career path. I find this interesting because there is no doubt that Griffin is qualified for the positions he is applying for, as am I, but we never hear anything back. I wanted to bring him on to hear his perspective and reasoning to why we are at this point. He offers great insight and different ways to think about this slow process that many people I know are going through.
