Jesse and Ryann McGhee, founding members of Grits & Greens, join Alan to share their story. Jesse & Ryann both grew up around the Hattiesburg, MS area, and would find each other in the service industry. The couple would move out to Colorado to stake their claim, but Covid was on its way. They looked back to Mississippi music friends and noticed the scene was still vibrant in Mississippi, so they would return to the state of magnolias.
