Groomed LA is the podcast based on the popular wellness and lifestyle blog Groomed LA, hosted by Editor In Chief, Emily Wagner. While some might find Emily's infectious energy to veer toward  manic, she prefers the term effervescent or ebullient. A born and bred New Yorker she migrated to Hollywood after college. Emily has sustained a long career as a multi-hyphenate creative with only a few pockets of devastating poverty that had her parents questioning if going bankrupt to fund her Vassar education was really worth it. Like all good Upper West Side Jewish seven-sister educated grads, she's been an actress, writer, filmmaker, director, artist, designer, yogi and teacher. Her most notable accomplishment is not getting fired for 15 years from the long-running NBC blockbuster ER where she played Doris Pickman, the snarky paramedic. She also did a few more cool things that look good on paper but you can just Google it. That would have been a great name for this podcast. Looks Good On Paper. Oh well. She'll loop about that for a solid 72 hours and bug everyone she knows via text, if she should change the name. That's Emily in a nutshell. Welcome.  Most of all, besides looping and OCD spirals, Emily is a connector (knows and needs to be liked by everyone) and communicator (never shuts up) and Groomed LA promises down and dirty no-bullshit scoop on all things LA. That means everything from insider Hollywood talk (after all she's a Z list celeb in certain circles, or the incarcerated inmates who still send her fan mail, to be exact) to wellness, trends and trend-busting, healing arts, health hacks, anti-aging insanity, fitness fanaticism, conscious-living, career (burn out, failures, success), personal growth, food fad and obsessions, woo-woo shit, parenthood, divorce, sex, intimacy, online dating, ghosting, social media, all things vagina and whatever else she decides to spiral about. Get ready for raw talks with our lovable info-junkie of a host and the unsuspecting guests she's able to lure with the promise of bottomless Sun Potion adaptogen tonics. That shit is expensive.
