Time for Group Therapy Thursday! 

Dear Ted and Amy,
My youngest brother just got married out of town and so I rented a large house on Airbnb for the rest of the siblings and their spouses to stay. We determined it would be less than to all pay for a couple of nights at nearby hotels, so it worked out to about 200 dollars a night for each of us. There were four siblings to share it. At the last minute, one of my brother’s wives decided to rent a hotel room for just them because she said it was cheaper, so it added his amount to all of our stays. What really gets me is that they spent most of the weekend AT the house but did not stay overnight. I think they should still pay for their share. My sister in law says that’s not fair as they didn’t stay there.  And she says they never fully committed in the first place. Should I just suck up the loss in order not to get into a big fight and put a damper on what was a great weekend, or should I make them pay their share of the house?
