It's Group Therapy Thursday!
Dear Ted and Amy,
I ended up at a BBQ this weekend with an old friend of mine who is single (I'm married) with whom I lost touch. We were drinking and laughing, having a great time when I mentioned something about my husband and she asks "how is your marriage?". I said it was great and she said 'because i know a few years ago you were having a hard time' and I generally said 'ya but we're great' (because who doesn't go through hard times, though nothing specific happened). Then she said she saw my husband years ago on Tinder. I played it off and she said his profile pic was a pic of me and him. I played it off and she apologized for telling me – I never had any bad blood with her and not many people have - she's genuine and sweet and I have no reason to think she was lying. I wasn't too concerned with it because we have a busy life and I honestly wouldn't know when he would have time to cheat lol. So this morning after he left for work, I went onto our app store. You can see if the app download is a new download, or if it's been previously downloaded within your family and Tinder had been downloaded in 2017 (7 years after we married). His iPad is 'clean' and his messages don't download to his iPad so I have nothing else to go on when I approach him unless I snoop in his phone. I never in a million years thought Tinder would have been downloaded but here we are...should I go down this road or just chalk it up (even if it did happen) to mistakes of our past?
