It's Group Therapy Thursday time!
Dear Ted and Amy,
I started dating a new girl, but have had a hard time shaking my last one. Even though we broke up six months ago, she still shows up at my house with gifts. When I told her to stop showing up in person, she just started dropping them at my door. Now she just sits in her car across the street and watches my place, but leaves if she sees me come out. Needless to say, my new girlfriend is unnerved by this and I'm starting to get concerned about my ex's mental state. She's never been unstable or violent so it seems like calling the police is an overreaction. How do I convince her to move on?
Signed,
