Our Centre is built in one of the poorest areas in Huaycan. The first question we ask the children when they come to study is, “Did you have lunch today?” Many, sadly, go hungry so at least we are able to give them some nourishment.

Columbans are a missionary society of priests who work in cooperation with lay people and Columban Sisters in 17 countries from a standpoint of solidarity with the poor and integrity of creation. Formally founded in 1918, St Columbans Mission Society takes its name from St Columban, Ireland's sixth century missionary to Europe.
