Hanying Dong is interested in the factors that contribute to the growth of children. He uses generating functions to count the number of ways in which children can grow from ages 3 to 13. This research was conducted during Fall 2014 in Professor Hanusa's Combinatorics class at Queens College of the City University of New York.
