Everywhere you turn these days there are a number of so-called experts telling you how to have a successful relationship. It’s not hard to see the world’s way doesn’t work. But God’s way does, and in His Word He describes it for us. Those of you who are engaged, or in a serious dating relationship will no doubt be able to relate to the feelings of the Shulamite woman expressed in the passage before us. Her strong desire is to be with Solomon, but she knows it’s important to reserve physical intimacy for marriage.
