In Exodus, we see Moses having to grow smaller by him leading a group of people to pray and him having Joshua lead an army to fight. Both Moses and Joshua were needed to lead smaller groups and to claim victory. As a follower of Christ, we are all leading something. In leading, there will be days that we are exhausted. We see that even Moses became exhausted. However, we see that Moses was not alone and neither are we. You don’t have the strength to do this on your own. We weren’t meant to do this alone. In our journey of following Christ, there are going to be days we are going to need help. We have to be willing to let people help. Are you letting God’s people help you and let people walk with you on this journey? In Christ, victory always follows faithfulness. This victory was provided because they grew smaller. Listen to this sermon about not being alone and getting the right people around you in the third part of our Growing Smaller series.
