At CMC, you hear us say, "You belong," and talking about belonging. As we biblically unpack this statement and why it's important to us, we see that this statement is more than a marketing tool but that it's a burden and prayer that we have for you. God designed each of us to have a desire to belong to something. Although belongingness in the world we live in has many boundaries and limits, belongingness in the Kingdom of God has no limits because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. When we belong to the Father, it doesn’t stop there because we also belong to the Church. By God’s design, the local church has been established so that we can have a place to call home. We can’t do this without each other and God; it’s the way we are designed.
