DAY 2 — GET UP & MOVE
TAKE IT BACK: Reclaiming My Time, Focus & Discipline
Sometimes the hardest part isn’t knowing what needs to be done—it’s actually getting up and doing it.
In Day 2 of the TAKE IT BACK challenge, we’re taking a deeper look at how we’re using our time, what we’ve allowed ourselves to become comfortable with, and the small choices that can either move us forward or keep us stuck.
I’m getting personal about my own journey with learning to be more intentional, while also reminding myself that growth doesn’t mean having everything figured out. Sometimes, growth simply looks like taking the next step.
We’re also continuing our conversation about accountability and sisterhood, because sometimes we need people around us who love us enough to encourage us, challenge us, and help us get back up.
Our main Scripture is Proverbs 24:30–34, with additional encouragement from Proverbs 13:4 and Romans 12:11.
DAY 2 CHALLENGE
Identify one area of your life where you’ve been choosing comfort over discipline.
You don’t have to fix everything today.
Pick one thing. Get up. Take the next step.
JOURNAL WITH ME
After listening, take some time to sit with these questions:
- What am I calling “rest” that may actually be avoidance?
- What area of my life has become overgrown because I have neglected it?
- What am I asking God for that I need to start preparing myself for?
- Who is someone I trust enough to hold me accountable?
- Where do I need to stop waiting for motivation and simply take the next step?
We’re taking our lives back—one day, one decision, and one step at a time.
