It is not limited to conflict, but also embraces advances spurred on by the rivalry between the United States and Soviet Russia. Landmark changes occurred in the United States legal system, as well.

Bit of forgotten history
One of the best books I have read in a long time. What great insight into the Cold War era and everything going on around it. Written by someone who was there. I consider this a must read for anyone that was there, knows someone that was or is interested in the time. Very informative and interesting. It held my interest throughout. It's a moving tribute, story and the author makes history come to life. Well done. Loved it!
This was a totally very interesting read
History Lives through this book . A book with lots of knowledge and real stories .The Cold War era is one of the most notably history-turning events of the century. Many lost their lives time but it was probably not made public. The cold war as an era is officially considered to stretch from 1945 to 1992 . This was a totally very interesting read.This book is perfect for someone love history .

I have been very interested in history and reading a book like this is very exciting to me. Well, this book shares stories and events that happens on the cold war so reading this book is like you are taken back to the time during the cold war. This book is very detailed and well written!

We may have learned about the cold war in history class or from TV, but this book gives a great example of what it was to live through this time first hand.
