For Millennials and Gen z growing up, being on Disney Channel and Nickelodeon was one of the ultimate dreams because of the illusion of child stardom sold to us. The networks have shaped our childhoods and created iconic shows that will make future generations jealous. However, these last few years have made me realize how different the stars that came from the networks are with some having more long-standing success, some short lived, and some who have quit the industry all together or had public breakdowns.
