Growing with Intention

Listen Later

In a culture that encourages reactive living, Christianity demands something radically different: intentional living that aligns every aspect of life with God's mission. As believers, we're not independent actors but part of the global Body of Christ, connected to a divine purpose that spans history. This understanding transforms how we approach every decision, conversation, and action.True Christian growth doesn't happen accidentally. Ephesians 4:15-16 calls us to grow up in all aspects into Christ, requiring deliberate choices and purposeful living. This means doing everything in Jesus' name, as Colossians 3:17 instructs, and seeking God's glory in all things, whether eating, drinking, or any other activity. Our words should reflect God's message, and our service should demonstrate His strength, making others ask how we accomplish what we do.The danger of unintentional living is real - it leads to self-deception and damages the church's reputation. There's no such thing as private faith or part-time Christianity. Jesus didn't die a partial death, so our response shouldn't be partial either. Following Christ requires tearing down old foundations and rebuilding everything on Him as the cornerstone. This week, examine every area of life through the lens of intentionality, asking whether words and actions glorify God and align with His mission. Growth is the expected outcome of Christian life, and it only happens through intentional, purposeful living that represents Christ to a watching world.🌐 Websitehttps://theshed.church📘 Facebook / theshedatprovence 📷 Instagram / theshed.church 🎵 TikTok / theshed.church 📺 YouTube / @theshedatprovence
