Chibwe Chungu Founder and CEO of Banyan Tree Skills Academy, was born, one of ten children in Zimbabwe. Although her parents didn’t have a formal education, they worked with their children to re-enforce what they learned in the classroom. She used that foundation to excel academically. As a result of her academic success, interpersonal skills and drive, she earned scholarships and prominent positions in plant science. She spent most of her career in a corporate setting, but she is now launching an entrepreneurial venture designed to help young people learn plant science and develop leadership skills.
