Growth is exciting, and can sometimes have the effect of being slap happy.  You are familiar with the term. It’s when we are happy to the point of euphoric irrationality, and giddiness takes over our brain as we feel nothing can go wrong, and all is good with the world. It usually happens when something we really wanted comes through in an even bigger way than anticipated. Some might call it reverie, but the effect is the same.

The problem with euphoria derived from exponential growth is that it can often hide inefficiencies or flaws which can be detrimental to continual success on a personal, professional and organizational level. Let's take a closer look..
