Have you ever felt like you were waiting to become the “right” version of yourself before you could actually live? I’ve been there.
The more I tried to do things perfectly, control the outcome, or follow some imaginary version of how life was supposed to look, the more disconnected I became from my own fire. And sometimes that perfectionism shows up in another form: indecision. We stay stuck in the cycle of indecision, procrastination, and shame because making a choice feels scarier than staying where we are.
In this episode, I’m talking about what it means to stop abandoning yourself in the pursuit of perfection. We’ll get into what happens when you step out of your head and back into your body, how I work through anxiety spirals, and the questions I ask myself when I’m no longer sure what’s real. We’ll also talk about honesty, boundaries, and what it actually means to stand in your truth.
Your truth can be a weapon, or it can be a tool.
Your fire doesn’t need perfection to burn.
Your truth doesn’t need to hurt people to be powerful.
And you don’t have to become someone else to finally feel alive.

What if fear isn’t the thing you need to get rid of? What if you could feel the fear, listen to it, get curious about it, and still choose to move forward? In this episode, I’m talking about the ways fear can quietly run our lives while convincing us it’s just being logical or keeping us safe. “Not right now.” “Maybe later.” “What if it doesn’t work?” “What if people judge me?” Sometimes fear sounds incredibly reasonable. But fear doesn’t get to make the final decision. We talk about naming what you’re actually afraid of, building self-trust through action, expanding your capacity to do hard things, and learning the difference between feeling fear and letting fear drive. So ask yourself: What would I be doing if fear wasn’t taking the lead?Maybe you don’t need to make the giant leap today. Maybe you just need to send the message, make the post, set the boundary, apply, create, ask.One step.Fear can come with you. Doubt can come with you. Shame can come with you. But they do not get to drive the ship. It’s time for you to drive and thrive.Connect:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gracielaserenamusic/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gracielaserenamusicListen:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3O4tln97npVFC0Gu6QxJeAKnow more: Website: https://gracielasmusic.com/index.html
What are you feeding? Not what you had for dinner. I mean your energy, your thoughts, your attention, your time.Because whatever you feed is going to grow.In this episode, I’m getting into the difference between feeling something and feeding it. Yes, you’re going to feel jealousy, anxiety, comparison, fear, resentment. You’re human. The question is, what do you do with it once it shows up?Are you processing it, getting curious, communicating, and letting it move through you? Or are you checking their Instagram again, replaying the conversation, future-tripping, comparing yourself, and giving the story more and more of your energy? Awareness builds choice. So I want you to ask yourself:What have I been feeding? What is growing because of it?And what do I want to feed instead?Your creativity. Your relationships. Your confidence. Your success. Your pleasure. Your fire. What you feed is powerful. Pay attention on purpose.Connect:Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/gracielaserenamusic/Instagram :https://www.instagram.com/gracielaserenamusic/Listen:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/3O4tln97npVFC0Gu6QxJeAKnow more: Website: https://gracielasmusic.com/index.html
Have you ever looked at yourself and thought, “Wait, who the fuck am I?”Not because you’re lost, but because you’ve changed so much that the old version of you doesn’t quite fit anymore. We spend so much of our lives believing the stories we’ve been given about who we are: I’m anxious. I’m a people pleaser. I’m not creative. I’m too much. I don’t need anyone. But what if those are experiences, not identities? You are not your attachment style. You don’t have to be the healed version of yourself. You’re allowed to change, contradict yourself, be soft and angry, ambitious and tired, loud and quiet. So instead of asking, “Who am I?” ask yourself:Where do I feel most like myself?Pay attention to what makes you laugh, what makes you feel alive, who you are when nobody is watching, and the moments when you suddenly think, “Oh, there I am.”Maybe you don’t need to become someone new. Maybe you just need to come home to the parts of you that have been waiting underneath it all.And as always...Your truth isn’t too much. Your voice isn’t the problem. What if becoming a different version of yourself doesn’t require a massive transformation?
In this episode, I’m sharing the small shifts that changed everything for me. From comparison and relationship patterns to overthinking, nervous system regulation, taking things personally, and learning to ask why, these everyday choices helped me build more self-trust, clarity, and alignment.
Real change can be simple. One boundary. One different reaction. Five minutes outside. One moment of catching yourself and choosing to come back to you.
And then one day you look up and realize, “Oh shit. I’m different.”
You don’t have to change your whole life today. Pick one shift. Start there. Keep choosing differently, and eventually, you’ll become someone you barely recognize.

Have you ever known a relationship was hurting you, but still felt like you couldn’t leave?I’ve been there. For a long time, I didn’t understand why I was drawn to relationships that lacked stability. I thought I wanted peace, but underneath that was an identity that had learned to associate chaos with love.In this episode, I’m getting vulnerable about my own experiences and the realizations I had about my past relationships. Not to blame my past or stay stuck in old wounds, but to show how understanding where our patterns come from can give us more choice in the present. We’ll talk about the difference between passion that makes you come alive and chaos that leaves you consumed. Why healthy relationships can feel unfamiliar when you’re used to uncertainty, chasing, proving yourself, and earning affection. And the identities we can unconsciously carry:I’m the person who survives.I’m the person who has to fight for love.I’m the person who loves people who need saving. But who are you when you don’t have to fight anymore? What would you have to feel if you stopped chasing the things that hurt you?Maybe it’s grief. Loneliness. Uncertainty. Fear.Maybe it’s freedom.Your fire does not need chaos to burn. Love is not supposed to be something you feel like you have to survive. If something in this episode resonated and you’re feeling the pull to go deeper...Connect with me on Instagram: @gracielaserenamusicExplore ways to work with me, including Ignite Your Flame and Fuel Your Fire:https://www.gracielaserena.comAnd if this podcast is supporting you, follow, share it with someone you love, or leave a review. Who Do You Think You Are?
What if the person standing between you and the life you want isn't who you think it is?
In this episode, we're talking about identity—the stories you carry about who you are, what you're capable of, what you deserve, and what is possible for you.
Because you can consciously want more love, money, success, creativity, freedom, or visibility… while unconsciously carrying an identity that says, That's not for someone like me.
I've experienced this firsthand. I spent so much time thinking about who I wanted to become that I didn't realize I had already become her. I was still doubting myself through the lens of an old version of me.
We'll explore how identity can keep you stuck, why the familiar can feel safer than the new, and what it actually means to start feeling and embodying the person you're becoming.
Because sometimes your next level isn't about becoming someone completely new.
It's about finally recognizing who you've already become.
Who would you have to become to live the life you're asking for?

Episode 18: How to Fight Without Losing Each Other
Relationships can be hard but conflict doesn't have to mean the end of connection.
In fact, some of the most important moments in a relationship can happen in the middle of a difficult conversation—when both people are willing to slow down, listen, take responsibility, and stay curious about each other.
In this episode, we're talking about what it actually looks like to navigate conflict without abandoning yourself or disconnecting from the person in front of you.
We'll explore:
Because healthy communication isn't about finding the perfect words to make someone agree with you.
It's about being able to tell the truth, hear another person's truth, and remain connected to yourself in the process.
You don't have to choose between yourself and the relationship.
You can learn how to stay connected to both.

Episode 17: Why You're Fighting About the Wrong Thing
Have you ever been in the middle of an argument and suddenly thought, "Wait...why are we even fighting about this?"
Because sometimes the dishes aren't really about the dishes. The unanswered text isn't really about the text. And the tone of someone's voice isn't always the real reason you're upset.
There's often something underneath the conflict—a need that isn't being met, a boundary that's been crossed, an old wound that's been activated, or a story we've created about what the other person's behavior means.
In this episode, we're getting underneath the fight to explore what's actually happening inside of us when conflict arises.
We'll talk about:
how to recognize the feeling underneath your anger
the difference between a feeling, a story, a boundary, and a standard
why attachment can make a present conflict feel much bigger
the importance of pausing before reacting
how curiosity can change the way we approach conflict
what it actually means to take responsibility for your part
Because understanding your partner matters—but understanding yourself in the middle of conflict might be the first step toward changing the entire conversation.
And sometimes the most important question isn't, "How do I get them to understand me?"
It's:
"What is actually happening inside of me right now?"

Episode 16: Who Told You That?
How many of the beliefs you carry about yourself are actually yours?
In this episode, we're unpacking the stories we've been handed throughout our lives—the ones that quietly shape the way we see ourselves, our relationships, and what's possible for us. From "I'm too much" to "I have to earn love," many of the thoughts that keep us stuck didn't begin with us... yet we've carried them as if they're facts.
Together, we'll explore how these beliefs are formed, why they can feel so convincing, and the simple question that has helped me challenge the stories I've lived by for years.
We'll explore:
If you've ever caught yourself believing you're not enough, too much, or somehow falling behind, this conversation is an invitation to get curious before accepting those thoughts as truth.
Because sometimes the voice holding you back isn't your own.
And asking, "Who told you that?" might be the first step toward hearing your own voice again.
