Lum & Abner was a comedy radio program, broadcast by KTHS-Hot Springs Arkansas, NBC Mutual, CBS radio networks from 1931 to 1954. Abner Peabody was played by Norris Goff and Lum Edwards by Chester Lauck. The show was based on the quirky characters and rural dialects of their small-town Arkansas roots.
