Guaranteed Greater Hope

Please turn in your Bibles to Hebrews 7:18-28

“…a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.”

Hebrews 7:19b

Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant.

Hebrews 7:22b

“… He is able to save completely those who come to God through

Him, because He always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:25

1 (V 25a): A Great Promise—Christ is able to save completely

“The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and

wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness…” Romans 1:18

“It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge His people.”

31It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” Hebrews 10:30-31

2 (V 25c) Our Eternal Advocate—Jesus forever in our defense

3: (V 25b): A Sure Bridge—Through Christ we draw near to God

…may the God of peace…21 equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work

in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13:20-21
