The proof of faith is not the absence of doubt. At times we can face the same dilemma as the father of the mute boy in Mark 9, where he is in faith for his son's healing, yet at the same time becomes aware of his own unbelief. Although we must not be condemned by the presence of doubt in our lives, we should also not become complacent.
