It’s a common saying - "Be true to yourself". But that often is much easier said than done. Living in this way can be risky. Some of us have learned to hide, to pretend, some have settled for something less "true" to avoid confrontation or pain or judgment or even effort. Some have become so separated from their "truth" that they’ve forgotten or lost sight of what that even is for them.

Which is tragic because what waits on the other side of "true" is what often leads to the best version of ourselves.
