Across its pages unfold notes, drawings, misspellings, and personal reflections that together trace how private thoughts evolve into ideas, images, and artworks.

The conversation explores the significance of Gudrun Hasle’s sketchbooks as both private and public documents, the ethics and intimacy of sharing unedited personal material, and the ways lived experience, motherhood, and artistic process shape a visual language over time.
