"I love science, philosophy, and people. My life’s work is connecting the first two with the third through storytelling that’s as down-to-earth and captivating as it is precise. 

Sometimes, this storytelling takes the form of non-fiction articles, books, and web copy. Other times, it takes the form of speculative fiction. Sometimes, it emerges from partnerships with individuals and organizations. Other times, it pops out of my own brain.

Whatever form it takes and however it comes to be, my work’s agenda remains the same: Communicate the whole truth. Promote equity, inclusion, and justice. Connect researchers with doers to build a better society."
