Damon Smith is responsible for Canberra's largest construction operation, with more than $400 million in construction works across multiple sites.

He has extensive experience in major residential and commercial developments enabling him to successfully manage the balance of millions of dollars in machinery, operations and materials of Geocon's large-scale projects each day.

Republic is one of 13 projects currently under Damon's authority, and in 2013 alone, Damon's team poured more than 22 Olympic swimming pools of concrete, shifted 380,000 tonnes of dirt, and laid 720km of electrical cabling over more than 210,000-man hours.
