Gary Wilkinson's journey into music began with an early love for the Dave Matthews Band (DMB), sparked by his sister's influence and the unique sound of the band. Growing up in a musical household in Rhode Island, where his father played guitar, Gary was surrounded by music from a young age. His fascination with DMB's use of instruments like the violin and saxophone in a rock setting inspired him to pick up the guitar. Self-taught alongside his friend Bobby, Gary's passion for music led him to perform in high school and eventually join tribute bands, including the Dave Matthews Tribute Band. His story is a testament to the power of music to inspire and connect, as he continues to share his love for DMB with audiences across the country.
