Having taught for the past 12 months within the Department of Architectural Science, Mark Tholen is a relatively new addition to the stable of accomplished sessional instructors infusing their experience and knowledge into the classroom and studio. Though Mark has taught in second and fourth year studios and Advanced Digital Design, most students and faculty have not had an opportunity to get to know him. In this episode we hear about his perspectives on hands-on experiential learning and the nature of innovation in design.
