Women Having Fun in Engineering

Listen to stories from two women having plenty of fun in their engineering careers.

Petere Miner is Founder, Chief Executive Officer, CoLoadX Corporation.

Petere is an entrepreneurially-minded leader offering a track record of success in starting up new businesses, turning around underperforming operations, and driving new levels of innovation from small start-ups to large corporations.
She has international expertise combined with unique ability to infuse new thinking and develop virtual, business-intelligence based, demand-driven supply chains, logistics, and transportation. Known as a consummate catalyst for change—creating and communicating a compelling vision while motivating teams to redefine the future of supply chain.

She launched the first true B2B digital marketplace for the ocean freight industry CoLoadXTM.

She saved $33M in transportation expenses at HP, Brocade, Affymetrix, Cisco, and Lytro by leading projects that reduced inventory, optimized logistics, and streamlined supply chains.

She reduced $15M in inventory by launching supply chain information systems at Amazon Lab126, HP, and high-tech consortium Converge. Integrated with logistics providers including DHL, UPS, FedEx, Expeditors, Maersk, and ERP systems to improve visibility of Kindle returns and HP repair parts.

She also provided visionary leadership as Chairman of the Board for nonprofit organizations transforming the board and improving fundraising from 10% to 50% of revenues. Raised over $1M.

Hang out with Petere and I as we talk about how much fun it is to be a woman in engineering!
