In this episode, Robyn focuses her spotlight on Kindra French, co-owner of 101 Mobility of San Diego.
Kindra has been a San Diego County resident since 1994 and in 2015, she and her husband Gary opened 101 Mobility of San Diego. Kindra is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist and helps make homes safer to allow people to live safely and independently at home. She also hosts a monthly program at the Carlsbad Senior Center, called Successful Aging in Place.
She’s passionate about cross-cultural missions and has led teams of youth and adult volunteers in Haiti, Uganda, Kenya, El Salvador, Guatemala and Nicaragua. Kindra’s four children, two grandchildren, two dogs, and a business keep her life full, but she can always find a few minutes to enjoy the sunshine, gather with friends, and dance to whatever beat is playing.
Listen as Kindra shares how she and her husband combine their gifts to better serve their community, how they tackled the learning curve of being new small business owners, and their unique approach to adaptability and finding solutions even during these uncertain and difficult times.
Her favorite quote/mantra:
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” - Galatians 6:9 NLT
