In this episode of the Space Between podcast, Renae Lipsmeyer interviews Larry Boodman, a fan of the Dave Matthews Band, about his journey with the band. Larry, also known as Boody, shares how he discovered the band in high school and instantly fell in love with their music, particularly the drumming of Carter Beauford. He talks about attending various concerts, including the Live in Chicago show in 1998 and the Central Park concert in 2003. Larry also discusses the unique experience of seeing Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds perform as a duo, highlighting the focus on the music and lyrics.  Renae and Larry share their personal experiences of attending concerts and the connections they have made within the Dave Matthews Band community. They also mention the formation of a Dave Matthews tribute band called the Fake Matthews Band.  Renae and Boody end the discussion with thoughts about the future of the band and the importance of cherishing the present moment.
