This week and next, I interview my mom, Karin, about her life taking a sudden turn in 2007 when my dad had a massive stroke. She became his full-time caretaker, and life as both of them knew it changed forever. Anyone would understand if they were both angry and bitter about this situation, but instead, they were able to accept what the Lord had for them, and live a good life together for the next 14 years.
